About Job Searchers

Job Searchers is a hiring platform for students and early-career candidates. We connect people looking for their first or second role with employers who are actively hiring, and we give candidates the tools to apply well rather than just apply often.

Why we built it

Most job portals ask you to register before they show you anything useful. That gets the platform a signup and gets the candidate nothing. We took the opposite approach: our resume tools are free and need no account, because a candidate should be able to tell whether we are worth their time before handing over their details.

The other half of the problem is that most applications are never read by a person. Employers use applicant tracking systems that parse a resume into fields before anyone sees it, and a resume that confuses the parser is filtered out on formatting rather than on merit. Candidates are rarely told this is happening.

What we offer

  • Free resume score — paste your details and a job description, and get an instant readout of how well your resume matches, which keywords are missing, and what to fix. No login required.
  • Resume maker — build a resume in a layout designed to be read correctly by applicant tracking systems, with plain-text export.
  • Job listings — browse open roles and apply directly, with filters for location, role type and job type.
  • Career guides — practical writing on interviews, resumes, portfolios and early-career decisions.

For employers and campuses

Employers can post roles and manage applicants through a dedicated dashboard, moving candidates through a review pipeline and responding without losing track of who is where. College placement teams can onboard students in bulk and see placement activity for their cohort in one place.

How we make money

Listing and applying for jobs is free for candidates. We fund the platform through employer listings, optional premium services for candidates who want hands-on help, and advertising shown alongside our content. Advertising never affects which jobs we show you or how your resume is scored.
